Pack Meetings 2008 - 2009All Pack Meetings are held on Fridays at Central Congregational Church in Chelmsford, MA at 7:00pm unless otherwise noted. NEW SCOUTS are always welcome! Come check out the Pack at one of the Pack Meetings! Pack Events 2008 - 2009More information will be posted about these events as we get closer to the dates. Fishing Derby! - September 28th The Fishing Derby was a great success! Thanks to the Derby Master and all the master anglers who participated. See pictures from the event in the Photo Galleries! Lonetree Campout - October 17 - 19 Pack Campout at the Lonetree Scout Reservation. Friday & Saturday nights. $12 per person for food. Sign up with Mr. Green. Lowell Devils Scout Night - November 1st @ 7:00 pm Enjoy the hockey game and fun with the Pack! The Pack is paying for the Scout tickets. Adults $14, siblings & friends (kid) $11. The Devils supply a Pinewood Derby car kit for each Scout that attends! Game time is 7:00 at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell. Pack Yard Sale November 8th, 2008, from 7am to 2pm at the Central Congregational Church. Setup for scouts and parents at the Pack Meeting, Friday, November 7th from 6 - 9 pm. Pinewood Derby Weigh-in Friday, January 9th, from 6 - 8 pm. "The Amazing Race" on Saturday, January 10th, from noon to 4pm. We're holding the Pinewood Derby earlier this year! So get your car kit early (we'll be handing them out at the first few Pack Meetings). Also, winners will now be able to participate in the regional events! Bowling! - January date TBD Blue & Gold Dinner Friday, February 6th Setup from 5:00-6:15 pm. Dinner starts at 6:30 pm. Higgins Armory Museum Sleep-over - February 27 & 28 Cost is $45 per person. See Phil for details and sign-up. Webelos Cross-Over Ceremony March 29th, 2009, from 1-4pm. Overnight at the New England Air Museum - April date TBD Movie Night April 4th, 2009, from 6-8pm. Lone Tree Campout DetailsSorry for the late posting about Lone Tree, but here's the scoop from Phil: Use the link below to view or download directions and map: Lone Tree Scout Camp Directions and Map Here is a link to Google Maps to help with driving directions: Lone Tree on Google Maps Schedule Dinner on Friday will be at 6:30pm. If you can not make 6:30 we will have dinner waiting. If your scout has any food allergy please let Phil know before Friday. You can come and go on Saturday if your scout has sports. You just need to tell Phil you are leaving. Menu Friday Dinner is steak, potatoes, and salad for the adults; hot dog and carrots for the kids. We'll be having pineapple up-side-down cake dessert. Saturday Breakfast - Pancake and Bacon, Cereal Lunch - Grilled Cheese and Soup Dinner - American Chop Suey or plain pasta, salad and rolls Camp Fire - S'mores Sunday Breakfast - Egg mix-muffin sandwiches, Cereal Lunch - Left overs And Hot Cocoa will be on the stove Friday thru Sunday! Yard SaleDo you need to clean out that closet or garage? Donate your old, unused treasures to Cub Scout Pack 45 for our fundraiser Yard Sale! The Yard Sale will be held on November 8th, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm at Central Congregational Church, Chelmsford,MA The Pack will be accepting donations for this sale and will take anything from baby items to furniture and anything in between. Please use the Request Information link to the left to request a pick-up of items. The last day for pick up of donations will be November 7th. Pack Commitee Meeting ScheduleParents and Den Leaders Please Note: Pack Committee Meetings are where important Pack planning takes place and issues are discussed. One representative from each Den should attend! The upcoming Pack Committee meetings are: December 9, 2008 January 20, 2009 February 10, 2009 March 10, 2009 April 7, 2009 May 5, 2009 June 9, 2009 All meetings are held on the third floor (Room 302) of the Central Congregational Church and start at 8:00pm. For Parents - Dues InformationNote to Parents: Please bring your checkbook to the Pack Meetings. During the Pack Meetings we will have sign-ups for the upcoming events and we'll often need to place deposits to secure our group events. DUES for 2008 - 2009 have NOT gone up! Dues are $45 for the year for one scout, $77 for two, and $100 for three. Got more than 3 of cub-scout age? Consult your doctor. Please get dues into Phil or the treasurer as early in the fall as possible. This allows us to place deposits on trips! Make checks payable to Pack 45.
